Competition Information
Weekend Film School Manchester is holding its first Script Writing Competition the event will take part at our film festival in November 2024
The deadline for entries will be the 1st September 2024
The prize for best scripts will be as follows
1st Prize £100
2nd Price £50
3rd Price £25
Competition Rules
The script should be a 5 minute script dialogue between two people.
The scene must be either in café/ apartment / sofa/ park bench / office or similar background.
The script can have more than one scene upto maximum of three scenes, a mix of indoor and outdoor scenes.
The story must engaging to the audience can be a comedy / drama / interview style or anything else similar.
Entering the competition, you will allow us to use the script in future short film courses and you will be given screen writing credits.
These films will then be shown at our Film Festivals
